1995The Foundation

Born in Bucharest shortly after the Romanian Revolution, Vlad immigrated to Chicago at age five. Immersed in European electronic music from an early age, he developed an instinctive understanding of rhythm and energy—and the power of dance music to bring people together.

Early YearsNatural Talent Emerges

What began as experimenting with audio software and mixing tracks evolved into a genuine passion for the craft. Self-taught and driven, Vlad spent countless hours perfecting transitions and developing technical skills that would come to define his entire career.

Age 13Professional Debut

A family event provided the first professional opportunity, and the performance exceeded all expectations. Immediate bookings followed for private events. Every dollar earned went back into equipment—a commitment to excellence that was evident from the very start.

Age 16Entertainment Enterprise

By sixteen, Vlad had established a full-service entertainment company. He managed multiple DJs and performers while maintaining a demanding schedule of weddings, corporate events, and community celebrations throughout the entire Chicago metropolitan area.

Indiana UniversityExpanding Horizons

At Indiana University, Vlad quickly became a prominent figure in the campus entertainment scene. His innovative approach to event production earned him a coveted weekly residency at Brother's Bar & Grill—establishing a reputation that extended well beyond campus.

ChicagoBuilding a Legacy

Returning to Chicago, Vlad cultivated relationships with premier venues across the city. Residencies at established nightlife destinations throughout River North, Wrigleyville, and Boystown—along with performances at major festivals—solidified his position as one of Chicago's most sought-after open-format DJs.

Today, Vlad balances a successful legal career with his passion for music. With over two decades of performance experience, he brings refined technical ability, an extensive music library, and an intuitive understanding of crowd dynamics to every engagement—from Pride Fest main stages to exclusive private celebrations.
